Priceless Education!!

Posted bygonzales2006on 11/22/2009

The Priceless Education my son is given every single day at DLC is phenomenal! He learns so much and he is so excited to arrive to school every day. The learning continues even after we come home. There are many instances when I know my son is teaching us what has learned at DLC. The Teacher’s are passionate about education on all levels. I know my family will be sharing DLC with everyone for years to come.

DLC is the BEST!!

Discovery Learning Center is by far the best place for children to be themselves and thrive. My daughter absolutely loves everything and everyone at DLC. They always have so many different activities and adventures going on. I love the HUGE outdoor play area! This is not a sterile and boring environment like some of the other preschools I have looked at. All of the teachers are so warm and open to communication. All of the children are wonderful as well. My stepsons (who are now in high school) also have very fond memories of when they attended DLC several years ago. It is definitely one of the hardest decisions a parent makes when trying to pick a daycare and/or preschool for their child. I have no worries when my little one is in their care; DLC is one of the best choices I have made!

Love it!

My daughter has been attending DLC since she was 2 and she absolutely loves it there. It is so refreshing to drop your child off knowing they are in good hands. All of the teachers are so wonderful and have taught my daughter so many things. I know I owe a lot of who she is today to DLC. She never wants to come home when I pick her up, she is always so busy with activities and learning, she would stay all night if she could. Great school, Highly Recommended!

My daughter goes to DLC and we...

My daughter goes to DLC and we all couldn't be happier! I have looked at over 40 schools in the Sacramento area and this school is above and beyond our expectations. My daughter gets up early with her lunch in hand ready to go and when I pick her up she never wants to leave. The ratio to student is very low which gives the child the time and attention they need. The teaching staff is phenomenal! They have been there for many years and are experts in child development. The teachers are always willing to lend their ear if you have concerns or questions and always give great advice. They go above and beyond in their teaching methods. The teach great life skills for the children on how to become independent and critical thinkers. I was amazed at the way my daughters vocabulary advanced and how her thinking process has become multi-dimensional. I only wished I enrolled my daughter sooner. In another year, she will be off to kindergarten but not all is lost as she is there now and doing beautifully. The teachings of this school are highly consistent with the philisophical foundation the founder of the school started 30 years ago. I highly recommend a visit. You will truly be amazed as my husband and I were.

An amazing school!!!

My children WANT to go to school and then never want to leave!! After looking at a number of other schools, I was nearly crying by the end of my first visit. Each room holds new ways to discover life. I love that my kids learn so much without realizing it. Other schools force the learning so that the kids dread "learning" it before ever entering elementary school. The curriculum is soley based on the interests, needs and maturity level of each individual child. My daughter has said, "I want to go to DLC until I get married." Although I am hoping she will wait a little for marriage, it truely captures what a five year old thinks about her school and community of friends. It certainly is a safe place for a kid to be a kid!
